About Our Site

Our firm has maintained an internet site since 1996. At that time, we were one of the few law firms in Pennsylvania to maintain such a site. In the years since, enhanced technology and the rapid growth of the "information superhighway" have changed the way we live and work. In 1996, merely providing clients with an internet option and an E-mail address was a novel idea. Today, it’s difficult to go more than 15 minutes without running across the now-familiar "dot-com".

While law firms as a whole are generally slow to change their ways, our firm believes that we must embrace new technology if we are to provide the best service to our clients. What was "cutting edge" a few years ago is no longer enough. As a result, we have outgrew our old website and found it necessary to move on to bigger and better things, relocating to our present home here at www.lawrencecountylawyers.com. This new site gives us room to grow and to provide the type of "on demand" information which you have come to expect from the internet.

If you are familiar with our previous site, you will recognize many features, as well as a few new wrinkles. For example, one goal of our move was to ease E-mail communications. You can now E-mail any of our attorneys simply by sending it to his name at our new domain (e.g., dmojock @lawrencecountylawyers.com). In addition, we plan on using the site as a way of providing even more services and information to you. Unlike "cookie-cutter" sites (which are little more than electronic Yellow Page ads), lawrencecountylawyers.com is a living, growing project. Because all of our website programming, creation and maintenance is done in-house by our attorneys, we are uniquely able to respond to your suggestions and requests. Will you be dazzled by flashing icons and special effects? Probably not, because those are things that are important to computer programmers, not attorneys and their clients. Instead, we will strive to maintain and expand our website in much the same manner as we practice law: by concentrating on meeting your needs and desires in the most complete, timely and cost-efficient manner possible.

We welcome you to visit our new site frequently as it grows in the coming months. We also welcome any suggestions you may have regarding the site itself or our firm in general. Visit our "Feedback" Page and let us know what you think. We’ll be listening.
